Highlights of work experience: Nonhlanhla "Noni" Gasa is without a doubt one of SA's most recognisable tv personalities. She began her career at the tender age of 15, as a Durban-based field presenter for SABC 1's Take 5 youth talkshow. With a BA degree in Journalism from the University of Johannesburg she has gone on to anchor several magazine programmes on Mnet and Dstv's GO channel, and is currently the host of this year's Nokia Face of Africa model search (on Mnet).

Last year, she was the overall winner of the Sunday Times/Elle Style Awards, walking home with the coveted Fashionably First Award for Best Dressed TV Personality. Later that year, Noni was selected as the mascot for the local fashion industry by becoming the Face of SA Fashion Week 2005, succeeding Oscar winner Charlize Theron. Having graced the covers of several leading SA magazines, and headlining popular events such as the South African Music Awards at Sun City, the former Bureau Chief of seventeen magazine continues to marvel local audiences with her unique look and infectious character.

In August this year, shoppers can look forward to an exclusive "NONI" clothing and accessory range which will be available at over 120 Legit stores across South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana.

She currently sits on the board for Ikageng Itireleng AIDS Ministry in Soweto and is a patron for ReachFAD blue ‘Dream it”.
