Description

Bonang means “to look at” in Tswana, a name given to her by her father, because he believed that she was “too beautiful to ignore!” You just need to glance through her resume to see that most people in South Africa agree with the wisdom of those words. Everyone has their eyes on Bonang Matheba at the moment!

She was born in Mafikeng, is one of six siblings and has a very close relationship with her mother, who is one of her biggest fans.

Bonang started presenting at the tender age of 14, and has been working hard ever since. This determined young lady is completing a BA in Marketing and Communications at The University of Johannesburg and is simultaneously working her way to the top of the television industry. She says she loves working on TV, but doesn’t get much time to watch it, as she rushes from one job booking to another.

Bonang’s idea of a good time is “good food, good company and good music!”
